RAIN CITY SKATEBOARD CONTEST 2007

Dec 1st - 2nd 2007, Larut Matang, Selama Rakan Muda Sports Complex, Taiping

Day 2 - I can't sleep tight that night since Amir turn on the aircond cool as ice (cooler than that). So, I woke up early around 6am but still feel so tired and tried to sleep again. So i felt asleep and then realised it was already 8am and found out that most us still in bed. Luckly the park was not that far from our motel. I think it's about 5km or less. So when we reached the park. We only saw 3 skaters who already began their practise for the Best Trick category. They were the Misaka brothers and Tkay. Well it's still early coz the contest will only begins at 12 noon. So we had plenty of time to lepak and makan. So then we all went to see the Kampung Boys V-Kang challenge which was also held in the sports complex. These Kg Boys were awesome and imagine if they were into flatland BMX riding. I'm sure they can be a good freestyle rider.

Best Trick - Well it has been a month so i can't recall who's doin' what tricks. I can;t recall ome of them only like Koya. He did a fakie BS shuvit bigspin while his bro was trying to get his ghetto flip, varial heel and only land a roastbeef grab. Am Cher didn't land any of his switch tricks but then Dane did a superb treflip and then another one which i can't recall but he landed it sketchy. Then came along Adam Zari. At first he only did a switch big spin and lanede on 2nd try. Then later on he did a switch FS bigspin heel and landed on the first try. Well you know the story and offcourse he won the best trick. At 3pm, Final round begins..... sorry i can't recall much of the event that day but almost all of them did at least a trick on the jump box but mostly touches the bank and the ledge in the middle part of fun box. Only few of them touches the wall which i can recall Adam who did a wallride to fakie while Am Cher did a BS wall ride and a bunch of switch from both of them here and there. Koya also did a good job that day. I'm pretty suprised that he improved a lot since the last seen him during the contest at Junior X-games @ Arena PJ. BANZAI!!!! The other 2 elder brother of Triangle team were not bad at all but i think they were more into transitions and less tech, difficulty of tricks. Well that's all i can say here. Next time please come and join the fun.

Night we all when for dinner before left to KL but then same old thang happend. We waited for our meals almost half an hour. Ok LAH.. i think i'm not good at writing story or articles. I can't say much now. Just come to your local events and show your support. Before i ended this report.
